Remember to include TWO essential sections in your Premium List when using PerfDog for your event.

 

Why are these sections necessary?

 

These sections ensure a smooth and transparent experience for entrants and organizers. Clear instructions minimize errors and confusion, while the fee and refund information fulfills AKC requirements and keeps everyone informed.

Section 1 

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

 

This section makes it easy for participants to understand how to enter their dogs in the event. Clear instructions help avoid confusion for everyone.

 

TO ENTER:

We're using perfdog.com to accept all entries. Enter online and pay with a credit card. Or, mail entry forms with a check payable to:

Section 2

PROCESSING FEES & REFUNDS

 

As required by the AKC, the second section explains the processing fee applied to each entry.

It also outlines the refund policy in case someone needs to withdraw their dog.

 

View the language to use below after choosing who absorbs the processing fee.

Important: PerfDog's processing fee is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. You choose who absorbs this fee: your club or the entrant.

 

Entrant Pays

 

What this means:
  • Cancelled entries and extras will be refunded, less the PerfDog processing fee.
  • AKC events must include this text somewhere in the Premium List.
 
Text to add to your Premium List:

Fees for entries and any extras (meals, parking, etc.) include a Processing Fee. Entries and extras may be cancelled or changed online prior to close of entry, with refunds (less the Processing Fee per entry) available to keep as PerfDog credit, refund to credit card, or mail via check (less a $3 Check Fee). Entries and extras may be cancelled online after close of entry, but no refunds will be given.

 

Club Pays

 

What this means:
  • Cancelled entries or extras are fully refunded.
  • The club covers the associated PerfDog processing fee.

 
Text to add to your Premium List:
