The Lightbulb Moment
We started PerfDog to let Neeta enjoy hunt tests again!
In May 2015, Neeta (1/2 of team PerfDog) volunteered to take on the role of hunt test secretary for the first time.
Little did she know what she was getting herself into!
As she spent her Saturday night painstakingly handwriting results on AKC forms (oh, the agony of hand cramps!), she quickly realized that she would need to pick up the pace on Sunday to ensure the paperwork was ready for the judges' signatures before they left the event.
It was definitely not the most enjoyable weekend.
Suffice it to say, Neeta had absolutely no desire to ever take on that role again.
Seeing Neeta struggle, Rod was determined to find a better solution to help secretaries manage all this paperwork madness.
And that's when it hit him - a website to simplify registering for and running dog events.
We made it easy, fast, and painless for everyone involved.
A PerfDog was born!
